The hotel was build where an old house from the 18th century once stood. In 2002 the building was remodeled and transformed in the way as the hotel is today, maintaining the baroque architectonic features, and which preserves the original pool and beams pervaded with so many dreams and mysticism. The hotel keeps the building's original style, combined with contemporary elements and a minimalist decoration, which uses wood, aluminum and crystal to create eclectic and one-of-a-kind spaces. The big house was always used as a residence. The area used today by the hotel was transformed into a closed doors neighborhood, of a higher level than the open doors neighborhoods.
