Il programma nel dettaglio
This tour was designed for those who appreciate the
best of the wine world. The tour goes through the Vale dos Vinhedos, a wine region of
Italian colonization with beautiful landscapes and
more than a century of tradition in wine production.
At
Vinícola Miolo, the passion for the fascinating world of wine is explained by the history of the Miolo family, which has been working in viticulture since the arrival of its patriarch in Brazil, Giuseppe Miolo, in 1897. One of the founders of the Wines of Brasil project,
Miolo Wine Group is the largest wine exporter in Brazil and the most recognized in the international market. The production of the four wineries of the group amounts, on average, to 10 million liters per year and is cultivated in an area of own vineyards with approximately 1,000 hectares. It is here that we will participate in a
Mini Wine Course and taste five emblematic varieties of the Miolo Group.
Soon after, we will visit
Lovara Winery. Moved by stories of people, places, work and achievements. On-site, we will see the Casa de Pedra, built-in 1887 by the founder. On-site, we will visit the vineyards and talk about the
wine-making process and
taste three selected labels from the Lovara vineyards.
The itinerary goes to
Cooperativa VinícolaGaribaldi, whose history began to be written in 1931, by the union of several farming families as an alternative to overcome the country's economic difficulties at the time. Currently, there are more than
300 associated families that make their living from the production of grapes and the like for the Winery, in all they cultivate more than 1000 hectares of vineyards. Until May of this year, the Winery already had more than
15 international awards, all from events and competitions in Europe.
As a souvenir of this special day, you will
take home a beautiful personalized glass of wine from the tour!
