On this day, we ascend over 1,600 meters to discover the breathtaking landscapes of the Santa Catarina mountain range, the coldest region in Brazil, where it even snows in the winter. The journey begins early in the morning, heading to Urubici, a small mountain town known for its stunning scenery.
Upon arrival in Urubici, you will be greeted by a peaceful atmosphere and the lush nature surrounding the region. Make a stop at Morro da Igreja (tickets with reservation), where you can enjoy a stunning view of canyons and valleys.
Next, head to São Joaquim, a city famous for its wineries and cold climate. Enjoy a visit to one of the local wineries, where you can taste delicious high-altitude wines (ticket not included) and learn about the production process. Take the opportunity to explore the city's historic center with its beautiful colonial buildings.
After a lunch break (not included), make your way to Bom Jardim da Serra, a picturesque town surrounded by lush green fields and beautiful waterfalls. Make a stop at the famous Mirante da Serra do Rio do Rastro, where you can admire a breathtaking panoramic view.
