The first and last stop is the perfect place to start or end your journey through the city. Marina Vallarta offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars and cafes. Beautiful boats, yachts and crocodiles that appear now and then to say hello!

From there you´ll travel along the main avenue Francisco Medina Asensio. This avenue crosses all of the city right up to our beautiful downtown Vallarta. Along the way to Downtown you’ll have the opportunity to Hop Off at 2 of the most important Shopping Malls in town, Galerías Vallarta, which offers a wide variety of shops and restaurants, plus a view of the cruises that visit us 2 or 3 times a week and La Isla Shopping Village, an open air mall with many Luxury Boutiques, famous brands, and restaurants.

As you continue the concrete streets will turn to cobble stones as you approach the Historic Downtown Vallarta.

Starting with Our Lady of Refuge Parish built in the 1960`s and the famous Parque Hidalgo, built in honor of Father Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, one of the heroes of Mexico’s Independence. Around the park you will find sculptures, fountains and mosaics, this is a popular place for locals to gather! This park marks the beginning of the famous Malecon (boardwalk) along the edge of the sea. A must visit location at day or night. Along the Malecon you’ll find a variety of sculptures, stores, seaside artists, beautiful views, restaurants, bars and the heart of the city’s nightlife. More than 80% of it is completely blocked for pedestrians and bikes.

Enjoy the Voladores de Papantla, one of the most cherished activities for locals and tourists. An indigenous spiritual ritual, the flyers soar through the air as they perform their ritual. They perform several times throughout the day.

Two blocks up from Malecon is Our Lady Of Guadalupe Parish, one of the most famous city landmarks. The construction started in 1915 and was finished in 1952. The famous crown places on top of the main tower was set in 1965. Around the church you will find all of the Mexican Folklore, food, vendors, arts and crafts and the town’s main square, Plaza de Armas.

After crossing the bridge above the Cuale River you will arrive to Viejo Vallarta (Old Vallarta) also known as the Romantic Zone. You will find the streets are smaller and there are more shops, cafes and restaurants than anywhere else in town. Playa los Muertos is located in this area, one of the city’s most famous beaches filled with vendors, bars and beach clubs.

Next up Conchas Chinas, an enclave between the mountainous jungle of the Sierra Madre and the crystalline water of the Pacific Ocean. You’ll find many hotels, villas and restaurants in the area.

Conchas Chinas marks the end of our Blue Line and the beginning of the Red Line. Hop Off her and grab the Red Line bus to continue your journey through Vallarta´s beautiful South Beaches.

Playa Palmares is a pristine stretch of beach, good for swimming and equipped with all the necessary services. Next up is Playas Gemelas, or Twin Beaches, beautiful water and white soft sand. Don’t miss the Los Arcos stop! Where you can look at the beautiful Los Arcos Marine Park, a set of beautiful granite islands above the ocean.

Last but not least, Mismaloya, where it all started, this beach changed the future of Puerto Vallarta. This spot became famous after John Huston’s film “The Night of the Iguana” filmed in 1963. This beach is now a busy fishing village filled with local businesses. This marks the end of your Journey through Puerto Vallarta´s most famous landmarks!
