Il programma nel dettaglio
When we arrive in Cannes, the driver will be waiting for you at the port. The first stop will be in historic and medieval Eze. This picturesque village, perched on a rocky peak, much like an eagle’s nest overlooking the azure Mediterranean and the French Riviera, is still adorned with 12th-century ruins of a fortified castle. The village encircles the base of the castle, with venerable buildings and narrow streets, wending their way to the Jardin Exotique Panorama.
We’ll take the time to visit the Fragonard perfume factory, located in the immediate vicinity, before heading through La Turbie, another charming medieval village. For those passionate about Roman and European history, La Turbie hosts the Trophée des Alpes, a 2000-year old monument. After passing through, we will reach Monaco, the affluent principality that hosts the most famous Grand Prix. We will see the Prince’s Palace, which has a changing of the guards’ ceremony daily at 11.55am.
The impressive and decorative Monaco cathedral is next, displaying its opulence and grandeur. Dedicated to Saint Nicolas, it was built in 1875 using white stones from La Turbie. And not to be missed is the Casino of Monte Carlo. As you enter the doors, you are plunged into the exclusive atmosphere and luxurious setting, surrounded by five-star restaurants and exquisite cocktail bars.
