After leaving Calafate enjoy a scenic ride along Provincial Route No. 11 and enjoy the breathtaking vistas of the crisp blue Argentino Lake and fascinating landscapes. Upon arrival to Los Glaciares National Park, contemplate nature's beauty as you drive through the “Curva de Los Suspiros” (“Curve of Sighs”). At this lookout point, you will be able to get your first glimpse of the enormous glacier and appreciate the size of this ancient glacier.



Continue along the road towards the "Muelle Bajo las Sombras" (Pier Under the Shadows) where you are invited to take an optional boat ride close to the southern wall of the Glacier (not included). Next, make the most of your free time and navigate the walkways above the canopies and admire the glacier from the numerous balconies which offer remarkable and unforgettable views. And if you're lucky, you might be able to see the glacier calving, as chunks of ice break away and fall into the lake.
