Il programma nel dettaglio
Dive into another world at the Vancouver Aquarium in world-famous Stanley Park, home to more than 70,000 fascinating creatures. Here, in an amazing temperate rainforest setting surrounded by the tranquil waters of the Pacific, you'll discover the world beneath the waves and learn about the efforts of the aquarium to preserve and protect marine life.
Come face to face with inquisitive beluga whales in the Arctic Canada exhibit, and discover all the marine mammals of the Pacific Northwest, including acrobatic dolphins, sweet seals, whiskery sea lions and the irresistibly cute sea otters. Step into the steamy Amazon gallery where you will find yourself in the company of free-roaming animals such as birds, lizards, tortoises, seasonal butterflies and two-toed sloths.
Then visit Penguin Point, inspired by Boulders Beach in Cape Town, to meet some friendly African penguins, or head to the Tropic Zone where clownfish, anemones, blacktip reef sharks and seahorses swim with sea turtles in a colourful wonderland. Head to the Wild Coast area, where sea otters, dolphins and porpoises help scientists learn more about their wild cousins. Whether you’re a little minnow or a wise old whale, there's so much to learn about and see at the Vancouver Aquarium, so hold your breath and embark on an unmissable undersea adventure.
Meeting/pick-up point: 845 Avison Way, Stanley Park.
