Il programma nel dettaglio
Departing from the regional capital, leave Ushuaia behind and head southwest towards Tierra del Fuego National Park, which is only 11 km away. Pass below the slopes of Monte Susana, and see for yourself the place where the prisoners of the old Penal Colony worked, which is now the Southern Fuegian Railway, where there will be the option to ride the railway on an optional excursion.
Passing through an impressive valley, the tour continues towards Ensenada Bay, with its impressive views of the Redonda and Estorbo islands and, across the Beagle Channel, the snow-capped mountains of the Sampaio Chain, on the Chilean side of the border.
Returning to the National Route, the excursion makes its way to Roca Lake, passing through the lush Fuegian forests with an abundance of flora and fauna visible from the road. Upon arrival at the lake, take a stroll along the beautiful Lapataia River. Heading towards the other side of the park, the route passes by the Green and Black Lagoons, spectacular beaver dams, before finally reaching the 'End of the World' in Lapataia Bay.
