The boat sails to Vathy or Samos town, the capital of the island and you can choose to stay in a hotel here or in Pythagorion, Kerveli Village or Kokkari. After checking in to the hotel you may enjoy your day with the facilities of your hotel or discover the island by renting a car or a scooter and visiting the Tunnel of Eupalinus, the Temple of Hera or browsing around the little souvenir shops. Don't forget to taste famous Greek Mezes (Starters), grilled octopus, calamari (squid) and fresh fish washed down with Greek Ouzo or local wine. In the evening you will have three options for dining; you may either dine at your hotel's restaurant or at a Greek Tavern within walking distance of your hotel or in a restaurant on the beach in Pythagorion.
During the rest of your stay you are free to relax and explore this pretty island. Within easy travelling distance of Samos town is Pythagorion just 11km away and the ‘picture postcard’ resort of Kokkari is only 10km. Public transport and taxis are available across the island.
