The easiest and most pleasant way to explore the enchanting historical centre of Rome is undoubtedly by bicycle. This tour starts at the magnificent and imposing Coliseum, the impressive setting for many a gruesome gladiator show. Be astounded by the impressive and practical architecture of the day. In fact the Coliseum was built with 80 arched entrances to make entrance easier. Next continue on to the equally wondrous Imperial Forums which were commissioned by various emperors and used to incite popular discussion about economics or politics. Stare in awe at the Vatican City and its array of churches and palaces which leave visitors astounded by the mix of art, history and spirituality encountered there
The tour follows on to the stunningly picturesque Piazza di Spagna, one of the most famous squares in Rome. You will return armed with photos of the square and the picture postcard views of the Spanish Steps as well as the many other sights you will discover along the way. Our expert and enthusiastic guide will enjoy sharing our vast knowledge of the diverse history of the area. The tour ends as we stop off for a refreshing Italian Ice Cream. NEW BIKE Children Policy: if your child is younger than 10 years of age, we require the EXPERT LEVEL of biking and that he/she rides her/his own bike. Please note that our staff will have the right to decline accepting your child without any obligation to refund you for her/his tickets. Children under 18 years of age cannot take part of our tours alone. They must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
