The journey will take you towards the eastern suburb of the city. Highlights of this excursions include visit to Royal Selangor where the art of pewter crafting will be demonstrated, antimony and copper are fashioned into exquisite and stylish items and the Batik Factory to witness how wax and dye are used in the painting process.


Later, ascend 272 steps to the limestone Batu Caves Temple where its cavernous interior is home to Hindu deities , Lord Subramaniam. During the religious festival (Thaipusam), devotees enter a trance & carry the ''kavadi'' for thanksgiving.


There is no better time to explore the Malaysia’s captivating capital than just after sunset. The atmosphere turns electric as the city lights and skyscrapers shine though the dusk sky to demonstrate exactly why Kuala Lumpur has become known as “The Garden City of Lights”. Discover the vast array of culture on offer in the city with stops at the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple and the bustling China Town before dining on sumptuous Malay cuisine at a top restaurant featuring a colourful cultural performance.

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a leisurely drive through the beautifully landscaped streets, allowing you to experience the energy of Kuala Lumpur as day fades into night and the city lights up. Marvel at the incredibly intricate Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, the oldest and richest temple in the city featuring an impressive entrance carved with 228 Hindu deities. The interior is just as spectacular with richly decorated ceilings, numerous shrines and a silver chariot.


Head around the corner to Kuala Lumpur’s famous Chinatown, an area that never sleeps where trading and bartering is a way of life. Soak up the sights, sounds and smells and maybe search for a bargain at the many shops and stalls selling everything you could possibly imagine.


Round off the night with dinner at a top local eatery. Sample a delicious variety of traditional Malay cuisine whilst soaking up Kuala Lumpur’s culture as local performers put on a show to entertain you before being dropped off back at your hotel.
