Hamburg was born as a small market town, but grew swiftly thanks to its connection to various trade routes and soon become the booming metropolis we know today. Its history is rich in fascinating anecdotes that have left their mark throughout the old city. With this tour you will be able to see all of the old town’s most iconic landmarks and relive Hamburg’s history.


Walk down the famous shopping street Mönckebergstraße – Mö for friends – with its typical red brick buildings, and the historical Gängeviertel. Along the way you will also see Hamburg’s impressive office buildings, such as the Chilehaus or the Spinkenhof, and the stunning St Nicolai Church. Our tour ends at the City Hall and the miraculous fountain that stands in its courtyard. Join us and learn the amazing stories behind all of these renowned locations.
