Embark on a tour with your expert guide and trace the momentous moments in French history as you step through the splendid rooms and areas that we have gained special access to.


Visit the Grand Salon and Ornano Salons as well as the grand reception rooms that comprise the Army Museum. Move on to the Cathedral Saint-Louis des Invalides and the Caveau des Gouverneurs, areas that are normally closed to the public, and hear stories about the French Revolution as well as the mysterious presence of Rouget de Lisle at Les Invalides.


Your guided tour ends at the monumental domed church whose magnificent golden cupola houses the final resting places of Turenne, Vauban, Foch, Lyautey, and Napoleon I. Learn about the unusual work done to build the Dome of Invalides, the extraordinary Napoleon statue, and about legends surrounding the Emperor’s death in 1821 in the island of St. Helena.
