Il programma nel dettaglio
Stutthof was a German Nazi Concentration Camp completed in 1939 in a secluded, wet, and wooded area, 34 km east of Gdansk.
It was the first camp built during WW2 and the last camp liberated by the Allies, on May 9, 1945. More than 65,000 victims of 28 different nationalities died in the camp, out of more than 110,000 people deported there.
The museum exhibition presents a tragic fate of former prisoners. Documentary films are a fitting prelude to what you will see next: heaps of shoes, striped uniforms, gas chamber and crematorium ovens.
