Begin your exotic adventure by being driven up the magnificent Alagoas Gold Coast, where you will enjoy the breath-taking views before reaching your destination at Maragogi. As you reach the site, contemplate the exuberant beauty of its crystal clear beaches, a sight you will only have seen on postcards or Photoshopped pics. But this is real.



Maragogi’s waters contain the extraordinary coral reef complex the locals call “gales”, in reference to the many ancient shipwrecks that these shores have been witness too. Meander over the rocks, waddle through the shallows or dive into the deep to explore this stunning feat of nature. The turquoise waters’ have the transparency of fine glass, so you’ll want to slip on some snorkelling gear to see the colourful marine life. Or if you’re more adventurous, you can even try scuba diving.



There are many other ways of enjoying the strand, such as taking an optional catamaran ride 6 kilometres offshore to see the “gales” upfront. Or else simply enjoy the breeze and the warm sun while basking on the sand or dining in one of the many trendy restaurants. Maragogi will truly leave you agog.
