Imagine taking a trip very far away and discover the night sky as you´ve never seen it before. You can do this now with us thanks to our astronomy safaris and the most wonderful night sky, taking advantage of one of the best skies for both professional and amateur astronomy.


An Astronomy safari is a comprehensive astronomy activity in La Palma for small groups. This activity includes the use of telescopes for the observation of night sky objects such as: visible planets and the Moon, stars, galaxies, nebuloses and star clusters. Also, they include sky orientation using constellations and detailed explanations by expert astronomy guides. Moreover, they are a fun way of travelling through the Universe. These astronomy tours take place in a viewpoint suitable for amateur astronomy and are guided by qualified personnel. They are aimed at people with or without an astronomy background, tourists and/or residents.


Meeting/pick-up point: Las Olas hotel, Calle salinas Local B1 in Los Cancajos.

Duration: Three hours.

Start/opening time: From October to March at 8pm, from April, May, August and September at 8:30pm and June and July at 9pm (according to sunset).

Languages: English and Spanish.

Others: Activity subject to weather conditions. Recommended to wear warm clothing throughout the year and comfortable footwear.
