The Szara restaurant is located in the house of the same name (The Grey House), situated at 6 Market Square in Kraków, the place which enjoys impeccable reputation. The beautiful location of the restaurant, right on the Royal Route, excellent cuisine, nice and professional staff speaking foreign languages, magnificent and fabulous interiors made the place a pearl of the Kraków's restaurant establishments.


In one of the two dining halls of the Szara restaurant our guests can admire a beautiful arched vault, with a polychrome by Józef Mehoffer (1869-1946), a great Polish painter also recognized to be the Master of Art Nouveau decorativeness and of applied graphics. We recommend making reservations, especially for dinners, because there are always lots of regular and new guests arriving. Our cuisine specializes in European dishes, and we need to mention our deliciously cooked fish (salmon and pike perch) and our famous fish soup, as well as sirloin served in various ways (e.g. tournedos or plankstek), not to mention our veal (tenderloin or schnitzel) which cannot be matched by anyone else.


Our dishes are accompanied by a well-balanced and extensive wine card (a classical European canon and the New World wines). Our restaurant is managed on a grand scale, with passion and expertise. It is infused with the European style in the best meaning of the phrase. Our restaurant is recommended in the Michelin Guide. The activity includes 7-course tasting menu full of traditional tastes and aromas of Krakow composed of 2 starters, 2 soups, 1 main course (meat or fish or vegetarian) and 2 desserts; all the dishes are prepared only out of regional products provided by local vendors. The menu includes a bottle of wine (for two) and water, coffee or tea.Meeting/pick-up point: Szara Restaurant.
