This magnificent castle, seemingly plucked out of a fairy tale, sits perches high on top of a mountain amidst a simply stunning Alpine landscape of lush green forests. It was erected by orders of the “Mad” King Ludwig II, and truly one would have to be mad to envision such a construction in real life. However, the dream became true and famous around the globe, although King Ludwig passed away before it was completed.

The castle’s majestic facade, breath-taking by itself, conceals an even more unbelievable interior, which reaches unimagined levels of splendour. Feel like a member of royalty as you delve into one of the most opulent spaces you are bound to see in a lifetime: highly precious furniture nestled among sumptuous appointments and masterly craftsmanship.
