Your journey begins as you make your way to Mazi Underground City. Less frequented than some of the area’s other cities, we explore the corridors, barns, and even an underground church with our local guide. After exploring life beneath the surface, you'll continue on to Soganli Valley, an open air park near a typical Cappadocian village. The Soganli Village is the birthplace of the famous handmade dolls of Cappadocia. Here you’ll visit a small market where you can see local women selling their dolls and other handmade crafts. Enjoy a local lunch in the village before continuing on to the Keslik Cave Monastery, an early Christian cave complex set in the garden of a local villager. Take in the beauty of your environment as the owner guides you through the monastery and offers tea and local fruits. Visit a local handicraft center to see women weaving carpets using traditional methods unique to the area. We’ll also visit Sinasos, an old Greek town with spectacular old Greek houses — fine examples of late Greek settlements and architecture.

The breadth of history, intact traditional life and handicraft, and the abundance of natural wonders available in and around Cappadocia, makes for a truly intriguing destination. You will experience this firsthand as you tour the diverse offerings of the area.
