The most culturally diverse city in North America becomes one at the Hard Rock Cafe Toronto, where great food and music create an awesome atmosphere. Oh, and it also boasts an electrifying rock memorabilia collection that is the talk of the town. See an extremely rare sketch by John Lennon, admire a six-string guitar used by Bob Dylan and check out the effortlessly flamboyant tailed jacket with green and yellow flowers and furry collar and cuffs worn by Prince in the Raspberry Beret video.

Like all great revolutions, the Hard Rock Cafe wasn’t meant to succeed. It was 1971 and as the Swinging Sixties had given way to the Super Seventies, fashions and tastes were changing. Two hungry young Americans were in London and couldn’t find a decent place to eat a decent burger… so they opened up a joint in the English capital. Their landlord didn’t think it would last and gave them just a six-month lease. Four decades later, there almost 200 Hard Rock Cafes in more than 50 countries worldwide.

The first T-shirt hit the streets in ‘74 and the first piece of memorabilia came, fittingly, by chance in ‘79 when Eric Clapton asked to hang his Lead II Fender guitar over his favourite bar stool and thus mark as his spot. Today, the rock 'n' roll collection has more than 74,000 pieces and is the largest of its kind. By 1982, the Hard Rock Cafe had gone global and the rest, as they say, is history (and it’s still being written)!

Bluegrass Menu Choice of one entrée: Hard Rock’s popular cheeseburger or bacon cheeseburger, honey mustard grilled chicken sandwich, fire roasted tomato pasta, Bar-B-Que pulled pork sandwich, classic grilled chicken Caesar salad. Dessert: Chocolate chip cookie. Choice of one beverage: Coffee, tea or soft drink.


Hip Hop Menu - Choice of one entrée: Legendary premium-sized certified Angus beef cheeseburger or bacon cheeseburger, legendary turkey burger, Veggie Leggie, Twisted Mac, chicken and cheese, tossed chicken salad. Dessert: Chocolate chip cookie. Choice of one beverage: Coffee, tea or soft drink.


Rhythm & Blues Menu - Choice of one entrée: Half-rack of pork Bar-B-Que ribs, Twisted Mac, chicken and cheese, legendary premium-sized certified Angus beef cheeseburger or bacon cheeseburger, shock top beer-battered fish and chips, smokehouse chop salad. Dessert: Cheesecake or triple-chocolate cake. Choice of one beverage: Coffee tea, or soft drink.


Jazz Menu - Starter: House salad. Choice of one entrée: Grilled salmon, herb grilled chicken, blackened chicken pasta, New York strip steak, Cavatappi Alfredo. Dessert: Cheesecake or triple-chocolate cake. Choice of one beverage: Coffee, tea or soft drink.


Start/opening time: 11am.
End/closing time: 1am on Friday and Saturday and 11pm from Sunday to Thursday.
