Il programma nel dettaglio
Gamla Stan or, as you would say in English, the Old Town is where everything once upon a time began. We like to say that the city was founded in 1252, but why is that and who is the person that stands behind it all?
Stockholm offers 750 years of history and in the Old Town this history comes alive. What hides behind the buildings we see today? Who were the people that used to live here? When was the Palace built? What do St George and the Dragon mean to the Swedes? Many great stories can be told in and about the Old Town and we are just dying to share our knowledge with you!
Meeting/pick-up point: In front of the Nobel Museum in the Old Town.
Duration: One and a half hour from May to September and one hour from October to April.
Start/opening time: January to April: from Mondays to Saturdays at 2pm. October to November: from Mondays to Fridays at 10am and Saturdays at 2pm.
Languages: English.
Others: We do not recommend combining this tour with Stockholm Must Sees and Christmas Spirit, as a walk of the Old Town is included in all of these tours.
