Travel through Lower Silesia and experience its rich scenery, art and culture. This tour highlights the most interesting attractions around Wroclaw and offers an insight into the regions fascinating history.
Shortly after the departure from Wroclaw, in the middle of the central Silesian range raises Sleza (718m), the areas most recognized mountain of the great historical and cultural significance as the site of early settlement of the Germanic and Slavic peoples in pre-historic times. Upon arrival in Swidnica you will visit the UNESCO listed Church of Peace, a unique and spectacular wooden structure that bears testimony to the quest for religious freesom in the 17th century. Also take some time to explore Swindicas old town with a picturesque market square and an impressive 14th century catholic church. A special stop be made at the house of Manfred von Richthofen. Continue on as you reach the imposing Ksiaz castle, spectaculary sitiauted on a hilltop in the middle of an old park. Your guide will show you the castle´s magnificant arcitecture nd unfolds its colorful history featuring European high ranking aristocrats as well as nazi secret plans to build Hitler´s headquarters.
