Il programma nel dettaglio
Experience Stalin's gift to Krakow in a genuine Eastern Bloc Trabant automobile. Come with us and discover the centrally-planned district of Nowa Huta, complete with steelworks and houses built in the Soviet Renaissance style.
This unique project was meant to be a model Communist city, but later came to be one of the centres of revolution and resistance within Poland. During our tour, you will travel back in time in a genuine Trabant automobile to experience the wonders of this unique city. Not only will you discover how the average Pole lived, worked and played under Communism, but stories and anecdotes from your laid-back local guide will bring the ''good old days'' back to life! You will be picked up from your hotel in a Vintage Trabant automobile at 09:00 and taken to the Nowa Huta district where we will visit the Central Square housing estate, the steelworks and the Lord's Ark Church built to resemble Noah's Ark. Then after refreshments in a Communist era milk bar you'll be invited for a shot of vodka with pickles as you watch a propaganda movie in a 1970s apartment. On our way back you can even try your hand at driving the Trabant yourself before returning to your hotel at 13:00.
Meeting/pick-up point: At the reception of the customers' hotel.
