Although the city hotel is within comfortable walking distance of Kyoto station and its Bullet Train platforms, the hotel runs a complimentary shuttle service to and from the station approximately 6 times an hour, so one rarely has to wait more than a few minutes, and the ride itself takes just 2-3 minutes.
