From the hotel, the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary can be reached in around 40 minutes by car, and the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre is about 45 minutes' drive away. The Gomantong Caves are approximately 95 km away. Guests can also reach the Kinabatangan River in around 1 hour and 10 minutes by car, while Kota Kinabalu is around a 5-hour drive away. The hotel is situated halfway between the city centre and Sandakan Airport, each of these landmarks being located 10 minutes away, and linked by the Northern Ring Road Highway.
