Location

This centrally located hostel is only 1 stop on the urban train (S-Bahn) network from the central station and some 10 minutes from the Theresienwiese, where the annual Oktoberfest takes place. Bus and S-Bahn stations are some 100 m away. Guests will find typical, traditional restaurants, pubs and beer gardens in the vicinity. It is only some 25 km to Munich Airport.

Facilities

212 non-smoking rooms, including 7 single rooms and 40 double rooms, are available to guests in a 5-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. This hostel has a lift and a 24-hour reception desk. Amenities available at the hostel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service (for a fee). Bicycle storage is also available for a fee. All 151 rooms are comfortably furnished to a 2-star standard and equipped with private bathroom, hairdryer, satellite tv and even have private balconies. There is a private breakfast room for guests and the public bar, shared with guests from the adjoining hotel, ensure that there is always a lively buzz and always a great chance to make new friends. There are games facilities as well as internet access 24-hours. Many of Munich's other beer gardens are also within easy reach.(Guests booking double rooms should note that this will consist of a twin-bedded room).
