The establishment is located in central Chester, close to Chester railway station and a few minutes' walk from the Roman walls, Roman sites and museums, plus the wonderful shopping experience offered by this great historic city. This charming historical hotel is also about a 15-minute drive from the Blue Planet Aquarium and Chester Zoo. The city of Liverpool is approximately 30 minutes away by car or public transport. There are several airports in the region, including Liverpool John Lennon Airport (around 40 km away) and Manchester Airport (about 51 km).

Facilities

The hotel was built in 1876. Guests have a choice of 218 rooms, including 7 junior suites, 3 suites and 204 double rooms, located in a 3-storey main building and a 7-storey auxiliary building. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe.
