Location

Overlooking Loch Linnhe, this guesthouse lodge offers easy access to the outdoor capital of the United Kingdom. Ski slopes (during the season) can be found within 20 minutes of the guesthouse, and many walking and climbing routes are located 30 minutes away. The guesthouse is situated 50 metres from North Ballachulish beach. Within an approximately 15-minute walk of the guesthouse, guests will find restaurants and bars, while public transport links to the bus service are around a 10-minute walk away. The bus and train stations at Fort William can be reached in about 30 minutes, and the forest in around 15 minutes, in each case by public transport. Guests will find shops about a 5-minute drive away, while the Glencoe Visitor Centre can be reached in around 15 minutes by public transport. The Harry Potter Steam Train (seasonal) is approximately 17 km from the guesthouse.

Facilities

The hotel was built in 1890. Guests receive a warm welcome at the hotel. 10 rooms, including 3 junior suites, single rooms and 6 double rooms, are available. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services and facilities include a safe, a TV room, a smoke alarm and a smoking area.
