Chengde Imperial Mountain Resort was originally a royal garden inside The Imperial Summer Palace of Mountain Resort, which is an UNESCO world heritage site. This resort has hosted a number of global political leaders. The property offers free internet access and free public parking on site.

Chengde Imperial Mountain Resort is a 5-minute stroll from Imperial Summer Palace of Mountain Resort. It is a 20-minute drive from Chengde Railway Station and a 2-hour drive from Beijing Capital International Airport.

Decorated in traditional Chinese style, all air-conditioned units come with 24-hour hot water, minibar, flat-screen cable TV, writing desk, refrigerator and electric kettle. The private bathroom includes hairdryer, shower facilities and free toiletries.
