This hotel is located in one of the most enchanting areas of the city, on the charming hill of Posillipo. It has magnificent panoramic views over the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius and the islands, and is only a few minutes from Mergellina harbour, where guests can take the hydrofoil to Ischia and Capri. In Mergellina, guests will find restaurants, bars, public transport links, shops and the sandy beach. The excavation sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum are only 35 km away and it is some 40 km to the Caserta Royal Palace. Capodichino Airport is 8 km away.

Facilities

15 single rooms and 57 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Best Western Hotel Paradiso, situated on Posillipo Hill, enjoys a spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples, with Vesuvius as a backdrop.
Within just 2,500 metres may be found: the San Paolo Stadium, the Mostra D'oltremare exhibition centre, the University of Federico II di Monte Sant'Angelo, the railway station and the Campi Flegrei subway stop. From many rooms, and certainly from our "ParadisoBlanco" restaurant, following the line of the coast you see Castel dell'Ovo, built around the year 1000 on a small island of tufaceous rock named Megaris. This is where - legend has it - the siren Parthenope, enchanted by the beauty of the surroundings, constructed the city of Naples.
Descending the hill, in a few minutes one arrives at the marina of Mergellina and, 200 metres after that, at the subway station. From here there is a good connection to the old city centre and to the central station, from where it is possible, in around 20 minutes, to reach the sites of Ercolano and Pompei.
