The family friendly Umkhumbi Lodge has elegantly decorated rooms with wooden furniture and tiled floors. Each of the air-conditioned rooms has a refrigerator, and a tea/coffee maker.

The property’s chef presents regional dishes prepared with local, fresh produce, either from Umkhumbi’s vegetable and herb garden or from a local supplier. High quality cuts of meat and child friendly menus are also available.

Surrounded by wild life reserves, guests will find over 900 species of birds in the area, as well as cheetahs, elephants, and frogs. They can also enjoy a variety of activities, including kayaking, boat cruising, and rhino tracking.
