This historic hotel was once the residence of Sri Lanka's governor (1830- 1850), Sir Edward Barnes. It is located at 1890 m above sea level and is surrounded my green mountains and hills. The airport can be reached in around 5 hours by making use of public transport and it is located around 180 km away.
