Location

The hotel is situated within a 5- to 10-minute walk of Nelson City's attractive Downtown area. Restaurants, bars, parks, gardens and rivers are all within a 10-minute walk. Rainbow Skifield is about 65 km away. There is a bus station about 1.2 km away and the beach is about 1.5 km away. Marlborough Vineyards are some 90 km from the establishment and another area attraction, Abel Tasman National Park, is about 60 km away.

The hotel was built in 1854. Guests have a choice of 2 junior suites, 2 suites and 2 double rooms located in a 3-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building.
