Location

Here, where the view of the Kaiser Mountain and the Fichtel mountain rambles towards the Thuringian Forest, lies Schöneck. This is the highest town in Vogtland, at 800 m above sea level. Schöneck is known to many as the Balcony of Vogtland, with panoramic views of over 2,000m² of green, hilly landscape. Through it’s snow-assured location, Schöneck is also situated close to Klingenthal, a popular winter sport location.
