This highly traditional hotel occupies a former hunting chalet and is nestled amidst the hilly landscape overlooking Funchal, only 15 minutes from the centre with the sea, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and many different shopping venues. Public transport departs from stops located just steps away. Situated at the heart of the famous and original gardens of Palheiro, the hotel offers direct access to Palheiro golf course. The airport is about 15 km from the hotel.
Facilities
The resort was built in 1804 and renovated in 2022. 38 rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.
