drive from historic Kilkenny city, guests can explore its wealth of
medieval heritage and craft traditions at Kilkenny Castle, Rothe House and
the National Crafts Gallery. Renowned golf course Mount Juliet is just 1km
away.   Kells Priory, Kilree Steeple & Highcross, Thomastown, Jerpoint
Abbey and Jerpoint Park ,Replica of the famine house and famine garden are

plants to 22 countries around the world as faraway as America, Japan's
Continental Europe and the home market.  Guests are given a complimentary
Guided  tour of the nursery where they can see all the different stages of
growth until they leave the farm.  Oldtown Farmhouse also has a 2000 year
old Ring Forte (it was said to be lived in by a Gaelic Chieftan) on their
farm that guests are welcome to visit and find out all about its history.
