The Tauern Spa is a wellness hotel located in the valley adjacent to the Kitzsteinhorn, a peak of over 3000 m with glacier and ski areas, less than 2 km from the centre of Kaprun and the closest ski area, with a cross country ski track and 18-hole golf courses right outside the front door. The hotel has free shuttle bus service and there is a ski bus stop in front of the house.
The hotel facilities and services include reception, lifts, lobby with library and open fireplace, meeting and event facilities, TV room, internet corner (with extra charge) and wireless internet access, ski room and boot ski storage rooms, traditional stube, wine cellar, restaurants and bars, terraces, garden and children´s playground. The leisure facilities include children´s multimedia playroom, professional care for children, table tennis, billiards, live entertainment (several times weekly) and sport activity program.
The wellness and fitness area include a fitness centre, 20.000 m² Spa with glass covered indoor pool with sport and children basins, warm outdoor pool, a variety of saunas and steam baths in the indoor and outdoor areas, infrared cubicle, relax rooms and sanarium, as well as an exclusive spa (for guests on the top floor of hotel) with chill-out area and fireplace lounge.
