Built in 1873 on the lush green and quiet Margaret Island in the centre of Budapest. Danubius Grand Hotel Margitsziget offers a spacious spa area with a selection of treatments, all room are newly renovated. A heated underground corridor connects the hotel to the neighbouring Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget, which features one of Europe's top health spas. A hot tub, 4 pools, and various saunas and beauty treatments can be enjoyed there. The diagnostic section features various therapeutic treatments. Guests can access the spa area free of charge. The Széchenyi Restaurant offers fine dining with magnificent views of the park. International, domestic and diet cuisine, with a wide selection of Hungary's best wines, are served. Outdoor dining can be enjoyed in summer on the terrace and in the garden. In the evenings, a gypsy orchestra provides entertainment. The hotel is known for its great Spa-area with an outdoor- and indoor swimming pool, thermal bath (32-38ºC), sauna, Jacuzzi, aroma- steam bath, solarium, sports massage and gym (spinning, yoga, stretching, step, fit-ball, fitness and aerobic).

Treatments available are: refreshing and relaxing massages with aroma oils, foot massage, reflexology, hydro massage, head and body massages and Cleopatra-bath. There is even indication, contra indication, clay wrap and physiotherapy. There are no treatments on Sundays.
