The family-friendly wellness hotel is located in Hungary's most flower-rich city, in a central yet quiet location, surrounded by vineyards and forests. Lake Balaton - the “Hungarian Sea” - and the Balaton National Park are just a stone's throw away.
In Zalakaros, wellness and relaxation are very important. The beautiful surroundings with its vineyards and orchards on rolling hills contribute to well-being. The Kis Balaton nature reserve is known throughout Europe for its unique bird and plant life. Nature lovers can explore the area on their own on the many hiking trails or take a guided tour of the nature reserve.

In the two hotel restaurants “Zafir” and “Coral” you can enjoy national and international delicacies as well as light fare and vegetarian dishes - accompanied by daily live music in the evenings. The matching wines come from the in-house wine cellar. In the “Smaragd Café” with its 100m² Mediterranean terrace you can enjoy a large selection of homemade cakes and desserts as well as an extensive number of coffee and tea variations. Guests can enjoy delicious snacks and refreshments at the hotel's rooftop Sky Bar, which has its own kitchen. The hotel also has an aperitif bar, several seminar rooms, a souvenir shop, elevator, charging station for electric cars (chargeable) and free Wi-Fi. Free parking spaces (unguarded) are available subject to availability.

Wellness
The hotel's own thermal and adventure pool "Aqualand", with a total water area of over 400m², offers a swimming pool (26-28°C), an adventure pool (33°C) with various water attractions, a Kneipp pool, a thermal water pool (36-38°C) , a whirlpool, a separate children's paddling pool with a slide, an infrared cabin, various adventure showers, a Mediterranean relaxation room and a panoramic terrace for sunbathing.
Everyone can find the right warmth in the sauna park with a Finnish sauna, organic sauna, steam cabin, adventure showers with light and sound effects, ice fountain, tropical relaxation room and sun terrace. Sauna shows and special infusions for every taste take place regularly.
The highlight is the panoramic sky pool (6x26m) at a height of 16m with 2/3 partially transparent wall and floor, bubble elements and panoramic corridor. Connected to the pool is a 750m² sun and glass terrace with comfortable loungers and the Sky Bar. The new panoramic sauna for 80 people and accessible to ages 18 and over with a plunge pool, relaxation and sun terrace and ice fountain completes the offer.

For a fee: the hotel's beauty island offers an extensive range of beauty products. Let your soul unwind with various facial and body treatments. The offering at the Topáz Beauty Salon includes professional facial and body treatments, luxury treatments from Maria Galland Paris, thalassotherapy, aromatic bath treatments, hair and make-up services, manicures and pedicures, hairdresser and, as special features, chocolate massage, Cleopatra milk-honey treatment, holistic sea spa treatment and aromatic algae body wrap. The Mandara wellness center offers traditional massages, Thai and Ayurvedic massages, anti-stress massages and relaxation massages.
Health Treatments
For a fee: thanks to the miraculous effects of the unique Zalakaros medicinal water, the sophisticated modern medical wellness area, an in-house specialist, therapeutic treatments such as healing massages, mud and medical packs, hydroxeur, carbonic acid bath and therapeutic gymnastics as well as water and electrical treatments, the hotel is suitable also perfect for a spa stay. A short stay in the cold chamber helps to loosen tense muscles and strengthen the immune system.
The offering is complemented by an acupuncture practice led by TCM therapist and acupuncturist Song Danqun. He offers consultations 5 times a week for anyone who would like to find out more about Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

Daily supervised children's program from 3 years according to the opening times in MenDan Land with large indoor playground with slide, climbing frame and countless toys, teen world with X-Box, disco and cinema, children's playground, baby equipment on request and subject to availability, separate children's buffet in the restaurant as required.
