El hotel se encuentra al final de Paseos de la Mota, en el paraje conocido como Jardines de la Mota. Se encuentra ubicado en el centro de la ciudad. Este castillo de estilo renacentista, fue construido por mandato del Rey Fernando II de León. Formaba parte del antiguo recinto amurallado de la villa y fue prácticamente arrasado en 1808 durante la época de la Independencia, del que se conserva la Torre del Caracol, de En la monumental Torre del Caracol se sitúa un salón con un admirable artesonado mudéjar. Descripción

Sede de las Cortes en 1176, el Parador de Turismo de Benavente se asienta sobre los restos del que fuera el antiguo Castillo Palacio de los Condes de Benavente, empezado a construir en el S.XII y posteriormente ampliado por los sucesivos ocupantes durante los siglos XIII, XIV y XV.
