Descripción

El Puente Nuevo y la Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda son símbolo de la ciudad y visita obligada. El Puente Nuevo es una impresionante obra de 98 metros de altura, construida en sillares de piedra extraídos del fondo de la garganta del Tajo para conectar el barrio antiguo de la ciudad con el barrio moderno o del Mercadillo, posibilitando su expansión urbanística. Desde los balcones del emblemático puente, las vistas de las casas colgando sobre el precipicio son espectaculares. El entorno natural de Ronda no es menos bello que la ciudad, rodeada de espacios protegidos y de los Parques Naturales de Sierra de la Grazalema, Sierra de las Nieves y Los Alcornocales. Esta es una ciudad única, rodeada por un entorno soberbio.
