This family run hotel is centrally located next to a wonderful park near to Amsterdam's city and tourist centre. It is 15 km to the North Sea and public transport leaves from directly by the hotel. It is also just 15 km to the airport.

Facilities

36 rooms, including 8 single rooms and 12 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. The Arcade Hotel is situated near the former Danish Consulate in Amsterdam and adjacent to Sarphati Park, one of the nicest parks in the area. The hotel is a typical family-owned business with 36 rooms situated near the centre of Amsterdam.

The main museum and the concert hall are at walking distance or are reachable by tram in a few minutes (stop at 50 meters from the hotel). The Famous Albert Cuypmarket is at three minutes by foot from the hotel.

The City Centre (Dam Square) and the RAI Congress Centre can be reached by tram in about eight minutes. The Aalborg Hotel was founded in 1952 and completely renovated in 2006. The hotel has only a breakfast restaurant, but there is a variety of restaurants within 250 meters of the hotel. The hotel has a 24-hour reception desk with a shop, also 24-hours.
