You will get priority access to the Colosseum to avoid the chaos and the long waiting lines.
The tour is suitable for all members of a family, but it was designed with a special focus on children between 7 and 11. The official guide, specialised and educated to be working with children, will engage with children and adults alike and tell you the story of the glorious deeds performed by the Gladiators in this majestic amphitheatre.
The tour will be dynamic and interactive and will certainly remain a long lasting and educational memory for your kids.
This tour will give your whole family the chance to experience a new way of visiting the Colosseum and is an engaging introduction to the magical atmosphere and glorious history of Ancient Rome.
Your children will be so fascinated by the ancient life and the tales of the great Gladiator Flavius Attilius that time will fly!
Through the eyes of the protagonist, young tourists will discover the history of the Flavian Amphitheatre, from the first laying of the foundation stone, to the day of its inauguration in 80 AD. To celebrate, the emperor organised gladiatorial games and fights that lasted 100 days! They will learn the importance of the games during the Roman era and the role of the Gladiators. But not only Gladiator fights took place in the Colosseum... strange animals and creatures were often presented to the Roman people!
The whole family will be captivated by the life story of Flavius Attilius in an interactive way and with a quiz in stages, to which they will answer through the use of smartphones lent to them by their parents. The children will be involved and actively participate in the story and this will be an incredible learning experience!

Due to the Colosseum’s reservation policy, the scheduled visiting hours cannot be modified.
MANDATORY INFORMATION DURING THE BOOKING PROCESS: It is mandatory to provide details of all guests participating in this tour, including full names to ensure availability and access to the Colosseum. A valid passport or photo ID is required. All guests visiting the Colosseum must have identification, including children and infants.
Due to the Colosseum’s reservation policy, we cannot reschedule this tour. Be sure to arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour start time. If you are late, you may not be allowed in and refunds will not be allowed.
