The adventure began with the transfer to the diving area on one of the company's three boats. All of these places contain a fabulous underwater life, which includes hundreds of different species of fish, amazing coral reefs and sponges. Dive in to admire the reefs, which are at a minimum depth of 12 meters.
The coral reefs of Quintana Roo are so extensive that they form what is known as a barrier of coral, an imposing natural formation that looks like a coral wall. The Quintana Roo coral reef is the second largest in the world - the largest in the world in Australia - and extends from Cancun to Honduras.
An Open Water Referral refers to the Open Water Training Dive portion of the course. The classroom and confined water sessions can be completed at your local dive center and the Open Water Training Dives can be completed here in Cozumel.
