The Dhow is a traditional wooden sailboat historically used by merchants and fishermen, made using teak planks sewn together. View the city skyline from the sea and learn about Qtar's historical relationship with the sea, from pearl diving to fishing, and trading with neighbouring countries.
Today dhows may feature modern amenities designed to entice tourists and the curious. Dhow boats are still used to transport goods along the coasts of Arabia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and East Africa
