UNESCO declared this former Portuguese city founded during XVII century a World Heritage Site in 1995 for its well preserved architectural wealth. The tour begins at the Portón de Campo, the old access to the walled city. Once inside the historic district, we will cross the cobblestone streets, the well-known Calle de los Suspiros, to appreciate the centenary constructions of colonial style, the lighthouse, the Plaza Mayor, some of the most important museums, such as the Portuguese Museum or Casa Nacarello , the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, the old pier and Bastion del Carmen.
