London’s Soho is like a mix of Vegas, Broadway, Amsterdam, and Hollywood all rolled into one. Come visit one of the world’s most iconic entertainment districts, where the rich and famous have rubbed shoulders with the down and out for over 300 years.
We’re taking a tour of London’s most famous entertainment area, paying a visit to four iconic pubs and walking in the footsteps of some of the world’s most famous actors, musicians, writers, and world leaders!
On this London tour, we’ll take a historical and cultural look at some of the places that have helped to define London on the world stage. We’ll visit the places where some of the UK’s most famous and infamous characters have lived, worked, and played, with stops at places like the club where Marilyn Monroe used a double to escape the paparazzi. We’ll also head into some traditional English pubs, where you have the option to grab a pint of true English beer or ale.
We’ll also step into London’s red light district and learn about the “English Hugh Hefner,” who brought the sex industry to London.
Some other epic stops on this epic tour include London’s Chinatown and St. Anne’s Church, and the French House (where you’ll discover which world leader established his headquarters here during WWII).
Find out where Karl Marx lived and wrote sections of Das Capital, just metres from the pub where George Orwell wrote 1984. Discover modern-day street art and why there are statues of noses found all over London.
We’ll also explore the wild variations of Soho, from where rock legends like Jimi Hendrix played to where the musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived and wrote his first symphony.
You’ll get to take a breather when we stop to enjoy Soho Square — the UK’s most cosmopolitan location and currently home to some of the biggest media houses, including Paul McCartney’s own and the former home of Casanova.
We’ll finish our London tour at the bar made famous by John Lennon and Eric Clapton, and where Keith Moon from The Who was banned for life!
