The adventure begins when you are picked up from your hotel either in the Downtown area or in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. The van drivers provide insight to the city and give first hand experiences of Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath on your 45 minute to 1 hour drive out of the city.



Keep your eyes peeled for alligators, herons, egrets, deer, feral hogs, nutria, raccoons, otters, turtles and frogs along the banks and the in the murky waters, or look up and out for bald eagles, owls, osprey, and other water fowl soaring through the skies. They'll be there one second and gone the next.
