Meeting point at Piazza Dante, The tour is developing by a pedestrian path without architectural barriers which will allow you to admire the most suggestive areas of the historical center of Genova, the most important and biggest of Europe, and to taste the famous “Focaccia Genovese”

Accesible tour to discover the historical center of Genova (UNESCO heritage)

Meeting of participants in Piazza Dante, with the guide and accompanying people.
As first taste of history and culture of Genova it can be seen:
Porta Soprana magnificent example of medieval city gate
The birthplace of Cristoforo Colombo, the famous navigator who discovered the contnent America the 12 of October 1492.
The next stage will lead to Piazza De Ferrari, the true heart of the city, where we will see the famous Carlo Felice Teather with its neoclassic Pronao, the Palazzo della Borsa and the Doge’s palace.
Not so far from Piazza De Ferrari i twill possible to visit th wonderful church “Del Gesù” with masterpieces of Rubens, Piola and many other famous painters.
We will enter also in the Doge’s palace, which was in the old times the seat of the city power. Inside the coutyard will be set uo a refreshment point where we can taste the typical Focaccia Genovese.
Descending along the monumental Via San Lorenzo we will visit the homonymous cathedral.
Continuing our tour we will reach Piazza Banchi where once the negotiations took place on the goods just landed in the port.
The visit will end in Piazza Caricamento where we will admire the scenografic Palazzo San Giorgio.
