Horse racing has been Hong Kong’s most popular sport since the city became a British colony in 1842.
Nothing sets Hong Kong abuzz with excitement quite as much as the thrill of its favourite sport – horse racing. The atmosphere is exhilarating, betting is feverish and there are potentially huge rewards for all! Asia’s world city has become such an important fixture on the international horse racing scene that some of the world's top jockeys and trainers – as well as their horses – make their home here. On this tour, experience either the daytime races at Sha Tin or the evening races at Happy Valley in the stylish surrounds of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Members' Enclosure.
Happy Valley Racecourse
The dazzling night screnery of the city's all-turf racetrack captivates its capacity crowd of around 55,000 racing fans. There is nothing like night racing at the Valley.
ShaTin Racecourse
One of the world's most progressive and largest racecourses, with a capacity of over 80,000. Sha Tin racecourse hosts many large-scale international racing events each year. Experience the excitement of the place where international events are regularly held while watching the explosive racing action on the Guinness World recording-setting Diamond Vision screen.
